Offered for sale in this lot is a wonderful set of gauntlet gloves from the Crow Native American Indians of Montana and date to circa 1950's. The set shows an Indian tanned hide construction with spotted calico trade clothe lining and long cut wide fringe at the outside. The tops show a wonderful floral beaded design in glass trade seed beds. The beadwork shows a sky blue, semi-transparent cut glass brown, semi-transparent orange, and semi-transparent green. The set shows a very fine construction and display very well in good condition. The set comes from a large Native American Indian antique collection in Great Falls, Montana. The piece shows an older museum identification collection tag bearing the numbers "B-1425 / 77" and "DE.JJ". Each measures 12.5"l X 11"w (including the fringe).
