The lot features a single piece of solid wood carved bow from the Plains Native American Indians. The bow is said to date to the 19th Century and shows a single solid piece of wood, possibly ash, carved down to a bow weapon. The bow has been scrapped and darkened and shows traditional notches for the draw string The piece has a good flex and shows solid condition for its early age. The piece measures 50.5"L x 1.5"W.
