For your consideration is this pair of Montana Crow Apsaalooke hide beaded moccasins from 1950. The set shows tanned buckskin hide with a low ankle that has a fold down top, which holds the original hide tie straps. The tops show a floral design in all early glass trade seed beads of the correct early 1900’s period. The bead colors are corn yellow, medium green, clear pink heart, and blue. The beads are sewn with trade thread. The bases are comprised of soft hide with a well-worn foot pattern patina, an honest sign of age. One moccasin is missing the original hide tie. Each moccasin measures 9 1/2" L x 3 1/2" W.
