This is a nice fully top beaded flat bag from the Montana Crow Native American Indians dating to the late-1900's. The flat bag has a round medium to large shape constructed of Indian tanned hide with denim clothe lining and is covered in glass trade seed and pony beads. The beadwork has a large floral effigy at the center surrounded by a linear pattern with a white background and colors of iridescent purple, greasy blue white heart, corn yellow, red, orange, green, medium green, sky padre blue, royal blue, iridescent, black, and semi-transparent green. The shoulder strap has a fancy beaded edge with metal concho tab. The bottom edge has seed beaded fringe with cowrie or cowry shells at the ends. The top has a velcro strap. Measures 31"L by 10.5"W.
