Featured in this lot is a Montana Crow Beaded Buckle, circa 1940's-1950's. The buckle is constructed with early glass trade seed beads on Indian tanned hide. The Crow are Native Americans, who in historical times lived in the Yellowstone River valley, which extends from present-day Wyoming, through Montana and into North Dakota, where it joins the Missouri River (wikipedia). The buckle is in good condition and measures 4.5" x 2.5".
