Featured in this lot is this Montana Crow Indian stag horn knife and beaded sheath, circa 1960's. The sheath features a beautifully beaded face and is constructed from Indian tanned hide and Parfleche with a fringe of Indian tanned hide. On the back of the sheath, it features naturally dyed geometric patterns in traditional design of the Apsaalooke Crows of Montana and polychrome coloration of red, yellow, and black. The glass trade seed beads coloration includes colors of medium red, sky blue, chalk white, yellow, and dark blue. The knife shows a stag horn handle with a brass hilt and shows a rasp or file constructed blade with a buffalo hallmark stamp along the blade. The condition of this knife and sheath are good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this knife and sheath are 14 3/4” x 3 1/4" x 1 1/2" and the blade length measures 6".
