These volumes provide a comprehensive history of Montana from the territorial days of the mid 1800's until statehood and into the early 1900's with topics such as government, mining, agriculture, resources, Indians, pioneers, vigilantes, etc. Each book is bound in leather and is profusely illustrated throughout. The set of books are in good condition, featuring marbled end pages and fore-edges, along with strong spines and good binding. The interior pages show no signs off obvious damage. The measurements of these books are 11 1/2" L x 8 1/4" W.
