For your consideration is this Montana ranch calf or cattle weaning halter masks circa early 1900's. There are two halters in this collection showing two different types of weaning tools. This halter would be fastened to the muzzle of a calf to keep them from sucking. The condition of this this weaning halters is fair with heavy oxidation adorning the halter masks.
