For your consideration is a Mossberg Model 185 K-B Shotgun. This Mossberg shotgun was manufactured between 1955-1963. The K model of the 185 came with a C-LECT adjustable choke. The C-LECT choke operates much like the chuck on a drill: turning the outer tube one direction threads it farther onto the barrel, which allows the multi-petaled inner tube to open; turning the outer tube in the opposite direction forces the petals of the inner tube closer. In this manner, the C-LECT choke can be continuously varied from Cylinder to Full choke. This stock is constructed from straight grain American Claro walnut. The blue'd barrel measures 26" and is marked "O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. - New Haven Conn. U.S.A. - Model 185K-B - 20 GA. 2 3/4 Inch." The Model 185K-B comes with a two shot magazine that can accommodate up to a 2 3/4 inch shell. Action and trigger mechanism function as intended. Overall condition of gun is good. Small dents and scratches to the finish of the stock. No serial number. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic Firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
