Featured in this lot is a bronze statue of a whistling boy, titled "Mousse Siffleur", by Victor Szseblewski and originating from the late 1800's. Victor Szczeblewski is a Polish artist known for his bronze art. The statue depicts a young boy in late 1800 attire and hat and bare feet. The boy is shown with his hands in his pockets and whistling. The piece is marked across the base with the title "Mousse Siffleur", the artist "V. Szczeblewski", and the foundry mark and number "Bronze Garanti Au Titre L.V. Deposee 9570". The piece shows wonderful construction and attention to detail. The piece shows good condition overall, with little to no wear. It measures 9 1/2" tall by 2 3/4" wide.
