The pastel artwork shows a Native American Man in ceremonial garments, done on velour with pastel. The artist’s signature is in the bottom left hand corner. Nancy McLaughlin Powell was a Montana artist noted for her skill of depicting Indian faces. She was the wife of famed Montana artist, Ace Powell. The condition of this framed artwork is good, with a slight chip on the left of the frame. The measurements of this framed pastel on velour are 24 1/4" x 18 3/4" and the visible art measures 17" x 11 1/2".
