Included in this lot is a Native American style, modern parfleche and stone head war club. This modern made club displays a smooth stone head secured with a piece of leather and has parfleche wrapped around the base of the head. A leather cord holds a second stone. The wooden grip shows partially stripped bark with red painted coloration, brass tack decorations, and parfleche handle. The skull cracker is made in a Native American style, but was not made by Native Americans. The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear across the top of the head. The club measures 24" tall by 4 1/2" wide.
