For sale in this lot is a 3rd phase style Navajo Native American Indian concho belt. The belt is adorned with eleven sterling silver, and blue gem turquoise conchos. Each concho is securely fastened to the black leather belt, and shows a flowing Western motif. In the early 1900s, the third phase of the concha belt began when artists learned how to set turquoise into their pieces. This belt originates from the mid to late 1900's, and shows good condition overall, with a fine white mirror tone silver, and tightly set turquoise cabochons. The belt measures 35 1/2" long. Each concho measures 2 1/4" wide, and 1" tall.
