Featured in this lot is this fantastic Navajo Diné Aaron John Sterling Silver Cripple Creek Turquoise Eagle Ring. Aaron John is from Fort Defiance on the Navajo reservation. He is known for the high level of detail in his work, often featuring delicate creatures like dragonflies and hummingbirds. He has incredible detail in his work, and uses great stones. This stunning ring features Cripple Creek turquoise stained glass pattern on the sterling silver shank, the head features an impressive eagle with wings outstretched attacking a fleeing rabbit, desert buttes rising up on either side. Artist's hallmark, "Aaron John" above "Sterling" on the shank inside wall. The ring is in beautiful condition, measures 1"W x 1.5"L head x 1"D, collective weight is 28.8 gms.
