Featured in this lot is this Navajo Albert Yazzie Inlay Turquoise Ring. Turquoise inlay jewelry has a long history, with origins in ancient cultures and Native American traditions. The Zuni people are known for their distinct style of inlay, while the Navajo people continue to incorporate new designs into their turquoise jewelry. Channel inlay involves setting stones in a single line from end to end. This ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver band and turquoise cabochons separated by opal channels. This beautiful ring displays the artistry of the Navajo silversmith. The ring is marked on the inside "AY Ster". The condition of this Navajo ring is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. Size 13.5, weight is 8.3g.
