Featured in this lot is this turquoise bolo tie from Navajo artist Bernadine Begay Tsosie. The bolo tie features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver an turquoise cabochon construction that features a braided leather tie with a four brand plait and is ended with sterling silver aglets marked 'sterling', the central pendant shows a twisted rope decoration that borders a large irregular cripple creek turquoise cabochon with good luster and light blue coloration with mineral deposits shown throughout the center stone. The pendant is marked with a 'BBT' hallmark for Bernadine Begay Tsosie and shows a 'sterling' stamp underneath the hallmark. The condition of this bolo tie is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this bolo tie from tip to the aglet is 21 1/2" and the pendant measures 2 3/4" x 1 3/8" x 1/2".
