This lot features a Sioux beaded hide and parfleche lined sheath and trade knife with circa mid to late 1900s. The sheath shows an Indian tanned hide, parfleche interior with early glass trade seed beadwork in a traditional snake and geometric pattern. The beadwork shows all petit and seed beads in chalk white, Cheyenne pink, corn yellow, semi-transparent rose, and semi-transparent dark green, with beaded drop fringe and rolled tin jingle cones. The knife appears to be an old or vintage kitchen knife that has the original hardened wood grips, with a uniform patina along the handle tang. Both sheath and knife are in good condition, no bead loss noted. Sheath measures 2.75"W x 9"L, knife measures 1"W x 11.5"L
