Bistie means badlands in Navajo. This rug has four borders surrounding a central field, which is characteristic of Bistie regional weaving style. The beige, brown, cream, and gray border surrounds an intricate diamond and squash blossom shape design. This 20th Century rug is in excellent condition with tight weaving and crisp lines.
