For your consideration is this beautifully crafted Navajo Horny Toad wedding vase done by Navajo artist Elizabeth Manygoats made late 20th century. Elizabeth Manygoats, a Navajo potter from the Kayenta-Tonalea area, was born in 1973. She claims she is primarily self-taught, but has learned from her mother and nine sisters who are all potters. Elizabeth is the only one who does ceramics full-time. This vase shows seven horny toads placed around the piece with one placed on the top of the handle. It shows earthy colors of various shades of brown and red / brown and features a two spout construction. The bottom is signed by the artist reading, "EM Navajo". The vase shows good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage. It measures 4 5/8" L x 5 1/4" W x 8 3/4" H and weighs 1 pound.
