Featured in this lot is this Navajo Diné Eloise Richards Sterling Silver Number 8 Turquoise Pendant Necklace and Earrings. Eloise Richards, recognized by her "E. Richards" hallmark, is a Navajo silversmith known for creating handmade sterling silver jewelry, often featuring turquoise and other stones like spiny oyster. As a Navajo artist, Eloise Richards's work reflects traditional styles and techniques of the Diné people, such as silver beadwork and intricate bezel settings. Many of her pieces feature turquoise often with striking matrix patterns. This sterling silver necklace features six equally sized bezel mounted Number 8 turquoise cabochons with silver beads and silver braided rope. Braided cable chain adds to the impressive beauty of this necklace, large lobster claw clasp. Each cabochon is .5"W x 1"L. Each earring features matching large Number 8 turquoise cabochon with a sterling silver butterfly backing, silver beads and braided silver rope. Reverse of necklace and earrings features the artist's hallmark, "E Richards" over "Sterling". A rich patina observed throughout, necklace and earrings are in very beautiful condition. Necklace measures 13.5"L, earrings are 1"W x 1.5"L each. Combined weight is 117.9 gms.
