The lot features a vintage fine tightly hand woven merino wool rug by Navajo weaver Faye Peterson which includes a trading post tag. The tag is from Ivory's Trading Co. & Gallery Ouray, Colorado and marks the rug as being by Navajo weaver Faye Peterson in a Gallup Throw pattern and original price of $168. The rug is woven in very soft hand spun Merino Wool showing colors of white / cream, red, dark red, maroon, grey, tan, and brown. The rug is in good condition showing no apparent damages or bleeding. The rug has a knots per square inch of approx. 120 (15 by 8). The rug measures overall 42" by 24" with the fringe / tassels and 37.5" by 20" without.
