Featured in this lot is this Navajo Ganado stepped pattern wool rug, circa 1950's. The rug shows a solid black border with a unique 'L' shaped stepped pattern set into individual square decorations. The coloration of this rug shows a white field with grey and black stepped decorations and a red square in this timeless pattern of Navajo Native American woven history. The condition of this rug is fair, with little wear to the rug, considering its age; however, it is missing lengths of the tassels on the corners of the rug. The measurements of this Navajo rug are 41" x 26.25".
