Featured in this lot is this vaquero horseshoe shank spur pair, circa 1890-1910. The spurs show a flat snug design to the heel band, with heel band knobs and spur strap knobs shown on both sides of the heel bands. The spurs feature a two piece construction with a horseshoe shape shank and a ten star rowel. The condition of this pair of spurs is good, showing oxidation and patina consistent with the age of the spurs. The measurements of this pair of spurs are 5" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/4".
