Featured in this lot is this fine, authentic, original Navajo Native American Indian wool rug in a rare Klagetoh pattern, dating to circa 1930’s. The Klagetoh pattern, like the Ganado pattern, was fathered by Lorenzo Hubbell and is located just south of Ganado, AZ. This example is believed to be dated circa 1930's. This example shows a faded and stained red cream field with geometric and symmetrical patterns of black and red with a saw tooth design border along the long side of the rug. The condition of this rug is good; it shows its age with the fading coloration of the rug and there appears to be an added border repair to the outside of the rug, but otherwise it is in good overall condition. The measurements of this rug are 55" x 40 3/4".
