Featured in this lot is this pair of inlaid sterling silver, White Buffalo turquoise and jet earrings from Navajo artist Marilyn Yazzie. The earrings show a sterling silver feather pendant dangle with an arrowhead shape inlaid with white buffalo turquoise and jet stones into the face of the feathers. The earrings have "J" hook clasps. The White Buffalo stone originates from the Tonopah Nevada area and is found in the same general veins as Dry Creek turquoise, except it has no copper content. The White Buffalo gemstones show a beautiful matrix of black host rock and clear white gem quality stone. The condition of these earrings is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this pair of earrings are 2 3/8" x 1/2" x 1/4". The collective weight of the earrings is 5.5g.
