The ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver construction that shows a buffalo skull that is tooled and stamped. Richard Singer, son of the late world renowned Navajo Silversmith Thomas Singer, is a 3rd generation Navajo artist, now one of the Ta’neez zahnii (tangle) Clan, born for the Kinyaa’a’anii (Tower House) Clan. He is from Standing Horse Mesa, Dileon, Arizona. Richard’s grandfather, Tsinnigine Hathali, was a Navajo Medicine Man and silversmith. Richard keeps with his father’s artistic legacy of depicting Navajo people’s spiritual symbols and love of life. Through his designs Richard expresses their love for the land, water, sky, and animals, which are a part of their way of life. Some of his pieces integrate the most traditional of Navajo design, the storyteller and the Navajo rug, designs that have endured for decades. The ring is expandable, artist's hallmark is stamped on the reverse of the horns, "R Singer" with a feather on the left, as well as ".925" on the right.
