Featured in this lot is this collection of Tombstone found 19th century Seated Liberty half dollars and dimes and were interred in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. There are a total of two half dollars and three dimes in this collection. The two half dollars present similar quality with some color play but worn appearance ranking them lower on the grading scale with on dated 1862 and minted in San Francisco, CA while the second 1854 half dollar minted in Philadelphia; both feature significant wear due to age and exposure. The first two are similar in nature with a difference of dates. The first of the two is a dated 1843 and barely shows the outline of the Seated Liberty with a very worn nature along with some slight color play, no mint mark seen. The second shows more color play and is dated 1877, and shows "One Dime" with the mint mark of Carson City. The last coin is the smallest and has been fabricated into a pendant and is dated 1868 with no discernable mint mark. The overall condition of this collection of Seated Liberty coins is well preserved with varying quality conditions and wear condition with color play in every coin in this collection. The measurements of this coin collection ranges from 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" to 5/8" x 5/8". The collective weight of this collection of coins is 28.8g.
