For your consideration is this Navajo Sleeping Beauty turquoise and sterling necklace from Navajo silversmith Russell Sam. The necklace features wonderfully and professionally handmade sterling silver construction with a Sleeping Beauty turquoise cluster pendant. The cluster pendant features seven smaller Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabochons and a larger tear drop shaped Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabochon in the center. In between each of the smaller turquoise pieces is a small sterling bead holding them together. The center piece is set in a shadow box style. The back of the pendant is stamped, "Sterling R. Sam". The necklace is in good condition with no signs of damage. The smaller turquoise cabochons measure 5/16" L x 1/4" W, while the largest piece in the center measures 11/16" L x 3/8" W. The entire pendant measures 1 3/4" L x 1 2/16" W. The necklace from clasp to clasp measures 17 7/8" L. The necklace weighs 15.4 grams.
