Featured in this lot is this Tiffany Skeets sterling silver and Sonoran Gold turquoise squash blossom from Navajo artist Tiffany Skeets. This necklace is of the best quality available to the public and shows a unique new strand of turquoise called Sonoran Gold turquoise. Sonoran Gold Turquoise is a brand new finding from the Sonora area of Mexico. Just like Campitos, there is an unusual way that it is mined. Most turquoise is cut from veins that interlace through host stones. It features a bright green color with splotches of blue and gold. There are 20 total turquoise cabochons set to blossoms along the side of the necklace, with a large squash inlaid with turquoise cabochons. The artist’s hallmark is shown on the backside of the squash with a 'sterling' stamp underneath the hallmark. The condition of this necklace is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurement from clasp to clasp is 19 1/2" and the collective weight is 88.2g.
