For your consideration in this lot are two silver, multi stone inlay rings and an inlay multi stone Thunderbird pin. The first of the rings has a double band and an inlayed face of malachite, lapis lazuli, turquoise, and spiny oyster. The ring is stamped on the inside ‘sterling’ and ‘Teme’. The Teme jewelry line specializes in semi-precious stone inlay. Each inlay stone is masterfully cut and fit by hand. The Teme jewelry line used a wide variety of colored gemstones in the collection—the result was a simple, versatile and elegant look, characteristic of all Teme jewelry. The ring is US size 7. The next ring is marked inside the band by Andrew Dewa. Andrew Dewa created one of the most widely recognized styles of mosaic inlay surface jewelry. His fabulous pieces were meticulously handmade of sterling silver, turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, gold-lipped mother of pearl, and jet. There are very few of Andrew's pieces in existence today. Andrew Dewa passed away on Easter Sunday, April 15, 2001. The face of the ring has two sections split by a silver twisted rope. One section is mother of pearl, onyx, and red coral; the other side mirrors the pattern in turquoise, onyx, and red coral. The ring is US size 10 1/4. The pin is a Peyote /Thunder/Water Bird of multi stone inlay. The Peyote Bird is connected with lightning, thunder, and visions. In the bird are turquoise, onyx, spiny oyster, and alabaster. The pin measures 1 1/2" X 1".
