Featured in this lot is this fantastic German or nickel silver cylindrical box by J. Alexander with the amazing finish and styling that resembles the Navajo stamp work of the early 1900’s. The jewelry box features a cylindrical design with a scalloped edge lid with a set round blue gem turquoise cabochon set into the center of the lid. The side walling and lid are heavily tooled with geometric patterns around the center stone and the outside lips of the lid. Designed by Jason Lenox in Dallas, TX, this piece of rustic silver is handmade in a small village in the Central Highlands of Mexico. The work is done by one family and all the tooling is done by hand; no presses or stamps! The condition of this J. Alexander cylindrical box is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this cylindrical jewelry box is 4" x 4 7/8" x 4 7/8".
