The lot features a sterling silver pendant with Turquoise and Red Spiny Oyster on a Red Spiny Oyster, Turquoise and Silver necklace by Navajo silversmith P. Wheeler. The pendant is signed "Sterling" and "P. WHEELER" and shows a sterling silver construction with polished gem quality turquoise cabochon at the center from the Bisbee Turquoise Mine surrounded by twelve polished round cabochons of Red Spiny Oyster. The necklace strand features Red Spiny Oyster shell beads accented by silver ridged beads (likely sterling), silver concho pearl beads (likely sterling) and polished Turquoise beads with silver cone and .925 lobster claw clasp. The necklace is in good condition and displays beautifully. The necklace measures 20"L with the pendant being 1.5" by 1.25". Total weight of 58.8 grams.
