Featured in this lot is a Navajo Vintage Pawn sterling silver pillbox, circa 1940s. The pillbox features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver and Blue Gem Turquoise construction that shows a stamped and tooled lid with geometric patterns and a triangular cabochon set into the center of the pill box. The pill box is marked on the bottom as follows: SVB - Sterling. Vintage pawn jewelry generally refers to the time period between 1900 and 1980s and is generally more desired than contemporary Navajo jewelry or silver work. The overall condition of this Navajo pillbox is good with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this pillbox are 1 1/8" x 1 5/8" x 1/2". The collective weight of this pillbox is 8.3g.*
