Featured in this lot we have a New England Firearms SB2 Handi single shot rifle chambered in .223 caliber. The rifle was manufactured in 1996 by the New England Firearms Company. This single shot rifle displays a 22" long barrel, wonderful walnut stock, hammer and action release system, tasco pronghorn scope, and leather shoulder strap. The rifle is marked across the left side reading "NEW ENGLAND FIREARMS MANUFACTURED IN GARDNER, MASS. U.S.A. U.S. PAT. NO. 3988848 SER. NO. NK270909" with the left side of the barrel marked "HANDI RIFLE SB2 CAL. 223 REM P". The rifle comes with a fine leather shoulder carry strap showing a carved and colored image of a buck deer with acorns and oak leaf design. Mechanically the rifle shows a smooth action and crisp trigger. The piece shows good condition overall with light wear due to storage. The rifle weighs 9lbs. Serial Number: NK 270909. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
