Featured in this lot is this nickel-iron meteorite from Great Crater Winslow, Arizona. The meteorite is wonderfully made form a non terrestrial formation of nickel-iron with the identification of composition tag claiming to be comprised of: 90% iron, 7% nickel; traces of cobalt, chromium, copper, and diamond; and shows two minerals not found on earth Cohenite 3 Fe. Ni. Co, and Schreibersite 3 Feni co. with the tag written by H. H. Nininger. The condition of this meteorite is well preserved with the information also well preserved and the book shows no obvious signs of damage with well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this meteorite in the case is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" as is the measurements of the case; the book measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". The collective weight of this lot is 10oz and the weight of the meteorite is 104g.
