Featured in this lot we have a Chinese Norinco MAK-90 Sporter semi automatic rifle chambered in 7.62X39MM. This MAK-90 was manufactured in 1993 and is one of the one of the rifles imported during the first Bush administration. The rifle displays a 16" long barrel, wood "Bush Hole" stock, adjustable rear sigh, and gas operated semi automatic action. The rifle is a result of George Bush Sr banning some features of the original design when they were first looking to be imported and those features needing to be removed. The original designs required the pistol grips, threaded barrel, and bayonet adapter to be removed by hand with later models like this one being factory made within the limits from the start. The rifle displays a wood thumb hole stock commonly called a "Bush Stock" due to the stock required from the Bush requirements. The rifle is marked on the left side of the frame reading "MAK-90 SPORTER CAL 7.62X39MM NORINCO C.A.I. ST.ALB.YT. MADE IN CHINA" with the right side marked "I.A.C. BILLERICA. MA.". This semi auto rifle shows good condition overall with some light wear due to handling. The piece weighs 7lbs 12oz. Serial Number: 9392824. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
