Featured in this lot is this gelatin silver photograph of a Buffalo or Bison herd circa 1908 and from Montana photographer Norman A. Forsyth. The framed photograph features a wonderfully and professionally crafted gelatin silver construction that shows a Governmental Conservation her of American Buffalo or Bison in a fenced in pasture with a tree line in the background. Forsyth was one of the more famous Montana photographers during the later stereoview era of post-1900. He operated out of his Butte studios from the late 1880's for over 50 years until the early 1940's. As a stereoview producer, Forsyth is mainly known for his boxed sets. The condition of this framed gelatin silver photograph is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition.
