For your consideration is this 1894 reprinted from original plates volume I and II copies of North American Indians by George Catlin originally published in 1841. These hard copy volumes were published by author and The Egyptian Hall, Piccadilly originally in 1841. The complete titled is, "Letters and Notes of the Manners, Customs, and Conditions of the North American Indians". The book was written during an eight years travel amongst the wildest tribes of Indians in North America during circa 1832-1839. The two volume set shows four hundred illustrations that were originally carefully engraved from Catlin's original paintings. The condition of these books are good being over 100 years old, the books show wear to the corners of the cover and to the spine and the integrity of the inside of the spine is fair with the p[ages showing some browning. The measurements of these books are 10" x 6 3/4" x 1 1/2".
