The lot features an Indian hide beadwork pipe tobacco bag attributed to the styling of the Northern Cheyenne Native American Indians. The piece is comprised of Indian tanned hide with glass trade seed beads in a geometric, typical Northern Cheyenne tab pattern in colors of white, maroon, light blue, dark blue navy, and corn yellow. The beadwork wraps around the bottom section (front and back) and runs up on the outside edge of both sides, as well as a thick top fancy edge. The bag has an Indian hide top tie and Indian hide long frilly supple fringes. The hide is very supple, and the bag shows little to no bead loss. Measure overall 23” L by 4 7/8” W.
