The piece exhibits large wide trade canvas body covered in red wool stroud trade clothe with ribbon fringe piping and large sections of beadwork with a stepped design done in glass trade pony beads. The piece is likely from the Blackfoot or Crow of Montana. The piece has tanned leather hide top straps. Overall the red body measures 37"L by 24.25"W. The strap width is about 7.5".
