This is an excellent set of fully beaded high top moccasins and belt which includes fully beaded leggings, moccasins and belt from the Northern Plains Native American Indians of Montana from the late 20th Century. The pieces are all covered in glass trade seed beaded beadwork showing a diamond ombre gradient pattern with dark blue or dark royal blue background. These are all matching and show dark blue, black, greasy white, brown, maroon, red, orange and yellow beads. The leggings are completely beaded all the way around and show long tanned hide leather ties with glass beads in red, orange and yellow, the set shwos a thick trade clothe contruction. The moccasins show a buckskin tanned hide leather with soft soles and covered on the top, sides and back in the matching beadwork. The belt has the same beadwork pattern of repeating diamond ombre gradients on a trade clothe with hide ties. Truly a nice set in well preserved condition with little to no bead loss and soft hides. Truly a stricking set that displays well. The leggings are tied to the moccasins at the tie for the set at the tongue and can be removed to make three seperate pieces. The high top moccasins together measures 14"H by 9.75"L across the sole by 6"W. The belt is 34.5"L from the fabric and beadwork section, which is 3.25"W, which doesn't include the 10"L ties on each end (20"L total).
