Included in this lot is a pair of hand woven, lidded baskets from the Northwest Coast and Papago Native Americans. The baskets display hand woven construction using natural fibers. The first of the pieces originates from the Northwest Coast Indians and shows a wonderful hand crafted, zig-zag weave pattern. The piece shows a tight weave and comes with a matching woven lid that fits over the top of the piece. The second basket is a Papago hand woven coil basket. The basket shows a coiled design with striped patterns and decorative knots across the top of the lid. The baskets show good condition overall, with little to no wear. The first piece measures 4 3/4" tall by 6 3/4" in diameter with the second measuring 5" tall with a diameter of 6".
