This is an edition of "Ocean to Ocean on Horseback" by Captain Willard Glazier (1841-1905), published in 1896. The book chronicles the author's journey from Boston, Massachusetts to San Francisco, California in the late 1800's. There are numerous illustrations throughout and the book features a beautifully decorated silver gilt cover and spine. The book is in good condition, with slight wear to the spine of the book and slight browning to the pages. It measures 5.25" x 7.5" x 1 13/4".
