Featured in this lot is this Ohio Cache River point aged from Early to Middle Archaic Period and aged from 8,500 - 6,000 B.P. The point features a cluster medium design with a triangular and semi deep side notches, with a one side showing semi flattened cross section. The blade is widest above the shoulders and constructed from a cream and salmon pink colored chert material with a deposit of quartz close to the tip. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 3 3/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/4". This point was taken from Ohio.
