Featured in this lot is a pair of Armand American Horse alpaca silver Pacific North West totem pendants. Armand American Horse (1982- ) is a Lakota Native American Indian silversmith artist. The first piece displays alpaca silver construction and hand tooled designs across the face. The piece displays a high relief of an Orca totem made of gold/copper alloy on a black background. Many people of the Pacific Northwest Coast refer to him as the symbol of family. The back of the pendant displays Armand's hallmark. The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear. The pendant measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/4" tall. The second pendant is all gold/copper alloy with the face of the Frog totem etched onto it. A great communicator, Frog often represents the common ground or voice of the people. Frog's songs are believed to contain divine power and magic.
