For your bidding consideration in this lot is a collection of Four Navajo Native American silver pendants with Turquoise and Red Coral. The first pendant comes on an Italian-made silver twisted chain that measures 20". The pendant is made of two cabochons; one is sleeping beauty Turquoise and the other is Red Coral. Both cabochons are 1/4" and are held in a sawtooth setting with two silver dots and a small "snake" with red coral eyes wrapped around them. The back is stamped Effie C Zuni. The work of Calavaza is easily identified by her recurring symbolism – a snake portrayed in her jewelry. In Zuni belief, the snake is a positive sign of rebirth and renewal. The pendant measures 3/4" X 3/8". The next pendent is a marked sterling Kachina Dancer. The Kachina is stamped on the front. The back has the initials FJ for Felix Joe (1961-), a Navajo silversmith. The Kachina pendant measures 2 1/8" X 1 1/4". The next pendant is a large silver teardrop shape with a shadowbox setting of two red coral and one turquoise cabochons and three large silver drops. The silver drops are stamped with a feather design. The red coral cabochons are oblong and measure 6/8" X 1/8" and 1/2" X 1/4". The turquoise cabochon is round and measures 3/8" across. The back is signed “Yazzie". The pendant measures 2" X 1 1/8". The last pendant is a large turquoise cabochon. The cabochon is framed by a twisted silver rope, two feathers on top, two swirls, and a silver dot on the bottom. The cabochon is of Kingman Turquoise and measures 3/4" X 1/2".
