The soldier is shown in uniform blue coat and gloves, standing at attention. The painting is set into a bronze colored oval frame with a eagle and shield reading "U.S.A." across the top and crossed American flags across the bottom. The pastel is free of signatures. The piece is in good condition overall with some light wear on the frame. The frame measures 24 34" tall by 18 1/2" wide with the art measuring 16 1/4" tall by 10 1/4" wide.
