For your consideration is this Planche 7 watercolor on paper called "Creek Indians Going to Meeting," by McCombs (1913-1980). This is a good watercolor on paper Planche no. 7 showing a family of Creek Indians in traditional garments riding with a dog in tow. Solomon was born in 1913 and grew up on a ranch in eastern Oklahoma. He went to Bacone College and had art instruction with Acee Blue Eagle. Solomon did much painting at Bacone College and shortly after leaving school. His work was widely exhibited. The watercolor on paper is in good condition and is preserved behind museum plastic and shows the copyright date and company marking on the back of the piece. The measurements of this Planche poster are 12 3/4" x 17 3/4".
