Featured in this lot is this original D. Schmidt wooden Inuit fisherman carving circa 1970's. The carving features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden construction. The carving shows a scene of an Inuit fisherman with supplies in his canoe in the river with rocks all around them. The carving is marked on the bottom as follows: D Schmidt. The condition of this wooden carving is good with the only damage being the paddle section in the mans hands and shows some aging to the top of the carving. The measurements of this carving is 3 1/2" x 15 3/4" x 5 3/4". The collective weight of this carving is 2lb.
