Included in this lot is a signed original Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa horseback painting from 2021. Darwin Tsoodle Kiowa (Dau-Law-Taine) is a Native American artist who was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma and is known for his depictions of Native American Braves on horseback. This painting depicts a Native American man on horseback. This man's face is painted yellow with red stripes. In his left hand, he is carrying a shield with a deer painted on it and three feathers hanging at the bottom; in his right hand, he is holding a sword. The man is wrapped in a red blanket and has a bag of bow and arrows on his back. The man is sitting on a white war horse with black spots. The horse is standing in the snow under the moonlight with snow falling around them. This piece is signed in the bottom right corner "Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa 2021". This piece is in great condition, showing no signs of damage. This painting measures 20" by 16".
